This is a one of kind masterpiece.

It is a 100% hand made Muramatsu, featuring:

Solid sterling silver (including keys and mechansims)

Soldered tone holes

French style key cups and pointed key arms

C foot joint

This flute was one of a hand full custom made flutes by Muramatsu in the French Louis Lot Style.

It is stamped:

The body and foot joint are a mid wall thickness, and feel substantial in your hands. The keys are smooth, the mechanisms fast.

The head joint is much lighter in weight (about a .012) with a weighted detailed ornate crown.

This flute was completely overhauled, and plays like a charm.

It is truely for the flautist that wants to stand out from the others, as you will get a tone from this flute like no other.

You may of course, change head joints if you wish to get more "volume" out of the flute, and / or have a more aggressive style. The flute is perfectly capable of producing a louder tone.

H. Bettoney Grenadilla / Solid Silver keys

Rare

Very beautiful wood flute crafted by famed American flutemaker Harry Bettoney sometime between 1910 and 1920 (Boston, MA). H.Bettoney was a rival of famed William S. Haynes flues. This flute is in in wonderful playing condition.

This is a beaautiful instrument made of grenadilla wood body, gorgeous silver keys and mechanism and ornate double rollers on the footjoint.

Length is 23 1/2" so it is pitched at the modern pitch which is a great feature as most were pitched very low during that time period.

The embouchure cut on the head joint is original never tampered with and sharp. There are no cracks in the wood.

This one plays with a very rich “woody” sound characteristic of the best wood instruments. This flute is truly a joy to play!!

Comes with a original case that protects the flute well.

This is a stunning American made, hand carved Native American Flute. This flute has so much detail in the carvings, paintings and markings. It is more lovely when shown in person.

This flute has a haunting, deep gorgeous voice that truely captures the voice of the Native American Flute. I have played many, and this is a stand out.

This flute can be played indoors or outdoors. This flute is not difficult to play, but will take some time to learn the fingering. We have included a fingering chart that is easy to read and follow.

You can also play and make up your songs. This is the part of the Native American Flute that I love the most. It will sound good with your own voice and improvisation.

Please note the details of this flute: Tundra Swan carving, eyes, paintings, undercut holes, signature of the artist, fetish, etc. You won't find this type of workmanship in most Native American flutes.

We are also including a very nice Native American made flute stand for this flute. The stand has two antlers which hold the flute.

This would make a lovely gift item for yourself or a loved one. It would also make a fantastic addition to your own flute collection.
