This flute is beyond Gorgeous !!
This is a nearly new condition, beautiful Irish 6-hole keyless wooden flute in the traditional key of D, made by Kevin Jones (KDJ Flutes) in Palm Desert California. Kevin first learned flute-making in Germany.
This flute is simply gorgoues, and looks / plays like new. It is not a cheap chinese made flute; it is a true handmade crafted piece by an American Artisian that will be a treasure for years to come.
The flute has a stained finish, with cocobolo wood. Cocobolo wood provides a very smooth woody tone with ample projection and response, a bit softer in tone than African grenadilla wood. Famous Jazz flutist Nester Torres won a grammy award using a metal flute with cocobolo head joint.
This flute has gorgeous brass fittings, and comes with a case, and would be an excellent addition to any flutists collection of instruments, for a new player learning Irish style music, or for a professional playing in a gig.
