Value lies in the name brand of Rittershausen, the emblems that are visible and easy to see, and the lovely tone that this flute produces.
Case is original but shows wear on the exterior. Crutch has been removed.

To be played, and collected.
Condition
This flute was recently overhauled, with all new pads and corks. It was not sanded deeply, and thus the original carvings showing the Rittershausen emblem is visible on all pieces. It has all new pads and corks.
Original case has room for 2 head joints. Case is rather worn, but original and structurally decent.
The head joint has a metal sleeve, and the embouchure cut is very sharp and excellent. You do not need “super chops” to play this flute.
Pitch
Plays at A = 440 hz. The new owner may find a tuning adapter with metal headjoint will adjust pitch and provide faster response.
The thread for crutch has been removed, which makes for more comfortable playing.
