FIRST MUTUAL Q&A

Why finance your instrument?
Financing allows you to own a higher quality instrument for roughly the same monthly payment as renting.
  1. Get a low simple interest rate compared to the average credit card.
  2. Customize the length of the loan up to 60 months to fit your budget.
  3. Get loan decision in minutes!

What financing options are available?
  1. 12.99% APR with your choice of payment term
  2. Payment terms of 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54 or 60 months

What requirements are there to be eligible for financing?
  1. You must be at least 18 years or older to apply.
  2. The instrument you want to purchase must be at least $1000.
  3. You must be a resident of the 50 United States.

Can I do a trial on an instrument that I wish to finance?
Yes, however, we must have payment (to be refunded) for the full amount of the instrument is still required in order for us to send the flute out on a trial.

Can I use the financing I am approved for in place of a credit card hold for acceptance instruments?
No. All must be set up with a credit card or other method of payment for the full amount of the musical instrument. This is a requirement from our insurance company and cannot be waived. Since financing is not finalized until you sign the paperwork, it is not a valid form of collateral. If you would like an instrument shipped out as a final sale, then we can ship the instrument out payment.
We cannot ship instruments prior to full payment, due to restrictions made by our Insurance Company.

How do I apply for financing?
There are several ways to apply for financing! You can apply using the application on financing company's website (using Merchant ID #).

What if I have poor credit or not enough credit built up and I think my application might decline?
If you have poor credit or have yet to establish any credit in your name, you will need to apply with a co-applicant for the initial application. Failing to do so will delay your application or cause a decline.

Do I need to fill out the financing application before taking flutes on trial?
We highly recommend that you fill out the application and submit it prior to setting up any trial period, although it is not required. If you wish to take a flute on trial, a hold on a credit card is still required, as the financing application/approval cannot be accepted as collateral for the trial. We apologize, but this requirement cannot be waived.
