This is a lovely vintage solid sterling silver piccolo by H. Bettoney of Boston, Mass.
H. Bettoney was the rival company of Wm. S Haynes during the time period that this piccolo was made.
This piccolo is in the key of C, and features an inverse conical bore with flared bell. S/ 528X.
It is marked:
Sterling H. Bettoney Boston USA" on the body, and "Sterling" on the headjoint.
The pads are good, and this piccolo is in playing condition. There are no dents or dings. It is a beautiful handmade piccolo.
