Lovely, Solid Silver Prof. Gemeinhardt model 3SSB solid silver flute.
This flute is lighter in wall thickness, and has a very nice tone. It is solid a handcrafted solid sterling silver flute, including the keys and mechanisms. This flute really sounds nice, and moves quickly.
The keys and mechanisms moveup and down quickly, and the 12kt gold springs allow for a fast soft touch. This flute has a K1 cut thin wall head joint, which moves the flute up and down with ample volume and projection. Not a slug. This flute sings with rich full tone.

This flute recently received a Clean Oil Adjust (COA) and is playing very well.

This is a wonderful professional grade flute that would meet a broad range of plays needs.
Though we would not recommend for a first or second year middle school band student, it could be played by an interemdiate steo up flutist, adult amateur, and jazz prof.
Even a prof. flutist may enjoy thsi flute as a back up instrument
We have many flutes pass through or shop and this one sounds outstanding. It is a wonderful solid silver US Made flute, and the price is very reasonable.
This again is the much higher level Gemeinhardt flute that is the handcrafted solid sterling model (made with much more care), and is thinner in wall thickness and faster in response and key action.
